Noah Scott Hall!

My little sister had her baby on June 13th around 9:45 PM. I was back in Chicago from Sun-Fri and missed the birth by one day!!! Noah Scott Hall is a cutie:)

Thanks to everyone for their prayers for my family. God never makes mistakes and turns our down times to triumph when we lean on him. My sister is so strong and I know she finds her strength in Christ Jesus. Please continue to pray for her and Noah.

PS My sister would kill me if I put pictures up of her.......so I decided not to:)
Love you all.

Beckman Huddle Recap- Thursday June 4th

Our last Huddle at Beckman High School of the 08-09 School year was today! What a fun huddle. I was blessed to speak today! My message was about loving the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind......and Loving your Neighbor as yourself. Pretty basic message but I trust the Holy Spirit was moving. We had a little over 100 students come. The leadership team continues to spread the word and I was deeply encouraged to see Beckman Football players sit in the front row!!

Thanks to everyone for their involvement this year! The parents for their prayer and pizza support, and of course the students for all their hard work. The huddle continues to grow and we are receiving more support every year! Please pray with me this summer as the seniors go off to college and new leadership steps up!

Love you all!!!

University Huddle Recap- Friday May 29th '09

We did things a little different at the huddle today. The huddles usually consist of an outside or student speaker that give their testimony about what the Lord is doing in their life. The student leaders at University HS wanted to switch it up and break into small groups to discuss the topic of Love.  I was a little nervous at first but God did all the work! We had each student leader take over a group of students and lead them in the discussion. It was evident that we have a lot of kids that don't go to Church on a regular basis and don't believe in Christianity......these are kids who come to FCA every week! My group was a fun one. I had one student in my group that was at FCA for the first time. He was an atheist and we had a great discussion!

Please continue to pray for this High School. I am so thankful to be on it!

Irvine Huddle Recap- Thursday May 28th '09

The second to last huddle of the year at Irvine HS was a good one. Despite the band on campus, God still managed to bring in a big crowd for FCA! The Leadership Team continues to bring in new faces as we had 2 students come for their first time. Egypt was our speaker and spoke on Truth. He is a funny guy who gets a long great with the kids. He had the kids laughing but when it came time to be serious you could hear a pin drop in the gym. The message was a good reminder of what truth means, and what God expects from us. Lets continue to pray for Irvine HS!

Thanks again to the moms for their dedication through prayer and serving.
