On Friday Night April 30th we hosted our biggest event of the school year, Night of Champions. The event was held at Mariners Church in Irvine! The Lord brought right around a 1,000 students and close to 200 parents! Over 100 students came to know the Lord that night and we had great follow-up with each of them. Youth pastors from all over the Orange County area were in attendance and had the opportunity to give each student a Bible, along with gathering their contact info for further discussion about a home Church.
The picture below is the new Orange County Director Greg Brown along with two of my student leaders. Madison Murphy is a freshman at UCLA and was last years winner of the "Character and Influence award." This award goes out to one student leader in Orange County that demonstrates the Love for Christ and the leadership qualities it takes to better their campus. Davis Gastelum won the award this year and is actually from the same high school as Madison...Go Woodbridge!
