University High School Huddles Kicked off!

University had their first huddle last friday October 30th! The Lord remains faithful in answering our prayer requests about Funds for food as we had some parents donate! ...Praise the Lord. I decided to have Josh come and speak at the first one to carry some momentum for the rest of the school year.

On Tuesday at Northwood I felt like we were in the "Bible Times" when multidudes use to follow around Jesus to hear him speak and perform miracles. So many kids waiting in line for food and to hear about God......can you believe this is a public campus!? 300 students came in that day...and 3 students were saved:)

Our speaker Josh Boldly presented the Word of God as he talked about Christ's death and ressurection. He painted a clear picture of what it looked like to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

The result of the huddle brought me to this verse.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides for ever. 1 John 2: 15-17
