FCA Summer camp 09 will go down as the "best FCA camp in the last twenty years" according to Regional Director Donnie Dee. The Lord is in control and taught me a lot about his grace these past couple of weeks leading up to camp. We were projected to have around 600-800 kids show up to camp, two weeks ago we had over 150 spots open. God is faithful and brought those 150 students and we came out with our goal of 600 kids. The Facilities at UCLA are great and the students felt at home when they were dropped off on Tuesday Morning. We were blessed by so many great speakers during the week. USC quarterback and good friend Matt Barkley came with cousin (USC wide Receiver) Robbie Boyer for a day. Matt shared his faith with the students and was used in powerful ways! Along with Matt, we had the USC defensive Coordinator Rocky Seto, former Florida State quarterback Chris Rix, Green Bay Offensive Lineman Duke Preston, and our main pastor Kevin Singleton. Words cannot describe the joy I felt during camp...watching close to 1,000 people worship at our evening program is something to be remembered. Thank you for all your prayers!
Psalm 84: 1-2
"How Lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of Hosts! My Soul Longs, yes faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.
