Foothill FCA's First Huddle was "Standing Room Only!"

What do you do with 240 high school students during lunch on a rainy day?

a) Stick them in a classroom designed to hold 40-50 students.
b) Give them free pizza and dessert.
c) Let them listen to a college athlete share about his walk with Christ.
d) ALL OF THE ABOVE!

Foothill’s first Huddle of the school year was amazing!  Kids were welcomed with "high-fives" from FCA leaders as they gratefully grabbed hot pizza and treats served by parent volunteers. Youth leaders from Calvary Chapel, Trinity, and Young Life mingled with the kids and made connections.  Jared Hall did a great job engaging the students with his testimony about the struggles he went through in high school.  But what was really amazing, is that 200+ kids actually quieted down and listened!

The Gospel is being shared on Foothill's campus, and your intense prayers and support are making this happen!  Praying for each Huddle, encouraging your kids to bring their unsaved friends, supplying cookies and water, and covering the cost of pizza might all seem like little things, but we know God does great things with the little things we do in His name!  Let’s see what He decides to do this year through FCA!

Blessings,
Linda and Cherie
