Foothill FCA: 550+ Kids Heard the Gospel at this Week's Huddle

They came for the pizza.
They came to stay warm.
They came because their friends invited them.
They came because there was a break dancer.
And they KEPT COMING!

Yesterday's Huddle was amazing!

Somewhere between 500 and 600 kids filled into the shelter of the gym where they saw Josh and Michael, two young men from a ministry called Break-Free, share their break dancing “moves” with the crowd.

Then Josh took the mic, and using the analogy of someone facing sentencing for a crime committed, he very clearly explained the Gospel. When he asked if there were students who were serious about wanting Jesus’s gift of salvation, about seven kids boldly stood up…in front of their peers! What a testimony this was to those in the crowd who didn’t know Christ!

What is a soul worth? What are seven souls worth?

Thank you, parents, for the time and money you have chosen to invest in these kids! We may never fully know here on Earth what the return on this investment is, but God promises that His Word “will not return … empty, but will accomplish what He desires and achieve the purpose for which He sent it!”(Isaiah 55:11)

Please keep these new believers in your prayers—that they would find a place to connect and grow in their faith.

Pray also for the Christian kids on campus to be bold in their faith and be “ready to give an answer to everyone who asks them to give the reason for the hope that they have.” (I Peter 3:15)

Finally, pray for the ministry of FCA. It is not a small miracle that the Gospel can be shared openly on a public school campus. God is using FCA to reach kids who might otherwise never hear the Truth!

Blessed be His Name!

Humbly,
Linda and Cherie
